Here are some frequently asked questions about our online escape games at #TakeTheExit:

Q: Can the online games be played from multiple devices in different households?

A: Yes! We designed the games to help ease boredom during lockdown. You will purchase the game once (priced £5.99 each or bundles available) and will receive a confirmation email. This email contains a guide, login and how to play. You just need to forward this onto whomever you wish to play with!

Q: If I book a date and time, do I need to play at that time?

A: The date and time you pick does not matter as you can play anytime you wish. There is no timer in the game (we suggest you time yourselves though) Our booking system requires you to book a timeslot – this is to just process the transaction. Your login will be sent via confirmation email right after the transaction is made (check spam folders in case it ends up in there) and logins will not expire.

Q: How is it played ? What device can I use?

A: The online games are played via a website. So can be accessed through a laptop, desktop or tablet. Mobile devices may not work properly so we suggest not to use them. There are no specific requirements for the games themselves, ensure you have a stable internet connection.

Q: Which game is best for beginners or kids to play?

A: We designed Alohomora and Into The Wild for families. You can also buy both in a family bundle saving £2! There is also Diagon Alley – ideal for first timers, kids and families to play online together in an escape room online setting. There is also Oz – an ideal game for beginners to escape rooms

Q: How many people can play?

A: Each game vary in difficulty. We suggest around 4 players maximum but you could split into teams and even select a player to be a Games Master! Surveillance is the only game that requires 2 players on separate devices. If you wish to play with other households, simply send them the confirmation, login in at the same time and play together via Zoom or Skype

Q: Will I be sent the confirmation automatically?

A: The confirmation is automated – so will be sent straight after your purchase. Check spam folders and junk in case it ends in there. Any problems please email us –
